BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke, or Bavarian Motor Works) is a German auto maker based in Munich whose cars make millions of people dream. Its famous series of cars used in the 007 films have helped consolidate the BMW legend, always synonymous with sporting, powerful, reliable and quality vehicles. The Regensburg factory, opened in 1986, turns out more than 1,000 automobiles a day: the 1, 3 and M3 series are assembled in this UNESCO world heritage listed city, renowned for its mediaeval architecture. At the modern Regensburg facilities, the company has installed 548 metres of Duck Strips, our radiant panels that offer maximum indoor comfort and are certified in accordance with European standard EN 14037
