Electrical heat pumps: subsidised rates are on their way.
The rate experimentation stage targeting residential clients using heat pumps as the only heating system will start on July 1st.
Application of the new D1 rate is aimed £at removing obstacles to energy efficiency arising from the existing progressive structure of the fees for the supply of electricity, when devices powered by electricity and energy efficient such as heat pumps are installed.” As a matter of fact, the system currently in force entails progressive charges, i.e. a price for the kilowatts used that rises with the rise in consumption.
Joining the price experimentation is on a voluntary basis and requires sending a request to the electricity provider.

Architects recommend energy saving installations
Architects take the field to urge the Government not to waste the opportunity offered by the recently funded upgrade of school buildings. They identify in the Call for architectural projects the best tool to ensure projects lead by example in upgrading metropolitan spaces and are willing to offer to institutions their digital platforms that make the calls for architectural projects quick and cost-effective.
They also offer to the Government and Municipalities the synthetic guidelines they have drawn up for upgrading existing schools and designing new school complexes.
The recommendation to use energy saving installations stands out from the other guidelines.
In this perspective, Sabiana offers a wide range of solutions, from radiators with electronic motor (electric consumption is equal to 25% of traditional ones), to high efficiency and very low pressure loss electronic filters, radiant ceiling panels able to assure the best possible comfort, energy consumption being equal.

The incentives for redevelopment of hotels have been confirmed.
The Council of Ministers approved yesterday the law decree prepared by Minister Dario Franceschini for the protection of the cultural heritage, cultural development and boosting tourism, including a 30% tax credit applied for hotel renovations.
The Law Decree implements the intention declared about a month ago by the premier Matteo Renzi to introduce incentives for building restoration and energy upgrades of hotels, through tax credit mechanisms and short amortisation up to 3 years at most.
This is a good opportunity for Sabiana, which is able to offer innovative, high energy efficiency conditioning equipment, that assure extremely high standards in indoor air quality thanks to the Crystall filter.
These features allow hotel owners to upgrade their facilities to the top of their range, while taking advantage from the government’s bonus.

Upcoming review of UNI/TS 11300-1 and 2 technical specifications
UNI has announced that the updated texts on the energy performance of buildings (UNI/TS 11300) have been drawn up and are soon to be published.
The UNI/TS 11300 technical specification, whose objective is to set a common calculation method for the energy requirements of buildings, consists of four parts. The texts to be released soon refer to two of them (UNI/TS 11300-1 and UNI/TS 11300-2) and are going to replace the corresponding texts of the 2008 version.
UNI/TS 11300 represents the main regulatory framework for determining the energy performance of buildings.
UNI/TS 11300 provides for different application methods according to whether the buildings are newly constructed or existing and takes into account both standard and specific climatic and operation conditions.
The texts to be released soon take into account the comments received during public surveys that ended last September.
