Cameri military airport

The Cameri military airport was once the site of an important military flight school, where First World War pilots were trained. Today, the flight school is no longer operating, and the Air Force now intends to use Cameri as the centre of excellence for tactical aircraft logistics-maintenance. This has been made feasible by the construction of the new hangar for assembling the F35, the fifth generation multirole fighter plane. At the new hangar in Cameri, 1300 metres of Duck Strip radiant heating panels have been installed, guaranteeing uniform heat and complete absence of noise. The constant temperature at all heights is essential for guaranteeing the same worker comfort as when working at ground level.
